Senior Social Marketing Manager, Sales Solutions

We are looking for a high-energy marketing professional that can balance strategic thinking with tactical execution. You will be a founding member of LinkedIn’s newest business unit targeting the global sales and marketing industry.
Your ability to create, and drive, projects in sales enablement (field marketing), demand generation, and product marketing will define your success. Besides solid experience and deep skills in these areas, you will need to rely on your ability to prioritize objectives, adjust to new situations, and exercise leadership within the marketing, sales, and product teams.
You will also be a spokesperson for LinkedIn Sales Solutions to prospects, customers, industry influencers, analysts, and internally within LinkedIn.
The role:
You will be working closely with our Sales, Marketing and Product teams to:
- Own the Sales Solutions ‘story’ to position our value to various target audiences
- Define and implement key messages, voice, and personality for our campaigns so they deeply resonate with our target audience
- Develop and execute a strategy and integrated marketing plan to generate leads for sales and build awareness for our sales solutions globally
- Drive our Sales Solutions content marketing plan & social marketing plan
- Identify, produce if needed, and leverage compelling content that will be highly valuable to increase our audience understanding of our solutions and best practices
- Execute a Customer Advocate Program to create and maintain a portfolio of customer success stories, references, and recommendations. Also execute customer validation/input programs around new features
- Create and execute go-to-market plans for new products and features including messaging, pricing, and working with sales and marketing partners on campaigns
- Collaborate closely with sales operations to drive meaningful reporting about lead generation, oppty conversion, and win/loss from our CRM
- Maintain detailed metrics to track progress and drive decisions
- Be able to lead and inspire other people in a matrixed environment
- Spearhead the innovative developments of social nurturing and social selling
- Execute on corporate marketing initiatives
- Develop training around social media best practices for business results
- Create new inbound leads from social media and manage them to establish qualified leads
- Assist in managing all corporate social media networks
- Manage and report on leads throughout social lead sources
- Maintain database of influencers and key contacts for social engagement
- Set direction of new pieces of content for lead management and generation –guides, slideshare, videos, etc.
- Elaborate and execute on existing social marketing strategies
- Drive new traffic to company websites
- Project management and implementation, development and ROI measurement
The successful candidate will:
- Possess deep enterprise marketing experience and passion for SaaS solutions, software, tech, B2B internet products. CRM/SFA experience is a bonus.
- Extensive marketing programs management experience, including “performance marketing, email, website marketing, social media, events, community and content marketing
- A passion and keen sense for unearthing and structuring customer insights and turn them into programs that benefit our customers
- Extensive experience in collaborating with enterprise sales teams as well as creative and marketing agencies
- Use qualitative and quantitative research to drive product and marketing strategy
- Excel at developing creative stories and compelling copy that articulate key product benefits to the right segments (strong copywriting skills are required)
- Be highly creative & resourceful
