ADP Time and Labor Management is growing and seeking a talented, goal-driven and results-oriented Technical Support Advisor for the Enterprise eTIME Customization team. The Technical Support Advisor is responsible for providing customization solutions to clients and mentoring existing associates. The client solutions will primarily focus on complex data integrations and process manager business flows within the Time and Attendance application. Very strong analytical and programming skills are a must along with VB, C#, Java, and SQL programming experience.
The successful candidate must be able to analyze client customization requirements to ensure a successful deployment and supportable solution. The candidate will work with other support team members, management staff and client end users at all different levels of technical ability. You will also be tasked with translating client customization requirements to determine feasibility and think outside the box to provide recommendation or suggestions when a requirement isn't technically possible or is outside of our support model. Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills are required.
This position may require travel between 10-40% depending on client and training needs.
THIS IS A VIRTUAL POSITION. THE CANDIDATE SELECTED CAN BE LOCATED ANYWHERE IN THE U.S.
Experience, Skills, Academic:
Education:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, a related field or the equivalent years in education and hands-on experience is required
Relative work experience or certifications in web application, report development or support, business analysis, database development, or SQL query performance analysis are highly desired
Professional certification such as MCSE, MCDBA, OCP, CCNA, etc. is preferred
Knowledge of VB, C#, Java, JSP, HTML, XML, and PL/SQL technologies is preferred
Experience:
Minimum of two years experience in a report developer role, as a business analyst, consultant or practitioner in a relevant industry, or with enterprise level software development experience required
Strong customer service and client satisfaction skills
Consultative requirements gathering and analytical abilities
Time Management and the ability to self-manage to deadlines and commitments
Effectively multi-task and work under pressure of time constraints and work in a team environment with a collaborative approach
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Prior experience working with time and attendance, payroll and/or human resource practices and systems is preferred
Technical Skills:
Enterprise eTime or Workforce Central application (v6.0 or higher desired)
Microsoft Visual Studio 2005+
Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services
Crystal Reports 10 and 2008
Excellent SQL querying skills in Oracle and SQL Server environments
Excellent skills in Oracle and SQL Server environments, including the ability to create custom tables, views, packages, functions and procedures via T/SQL or PL/SQL based on client reporting requirements
Proven analysis, design, and documentation skills
Experience in HTML, HTML5, JSP, Java Scripting or other internet programming languages are a plus
Thorough understanding and background in the utilization of Internet based software and/or utilities including but not limited to Java, Internet Explorer, Desktop Streaming, IIS or Apache
