Position Overview:



The Network Solutions is seeking highly motivated Software Developers and craftsmen to work on leading edge computer telephony integration applications. The successful candidate will work with an experienced software development team and IP telephony system experts to provide business intelligence by extracting and analyzing call detain records. Candidate must possess advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server Clusters and have solid T-SQL coding skills. C#, ADO.NET, and MS TFS experience will be helpful. Candidates must also be comfortable working in an open Agile Scrum environment with developers that care about the quality of their code .



Job Responsibilities:




  • Work as part of an agile development team to define, design, develop, test, and implement leading edge computer telephony integration applications.

  • Reviews user stories, development tasks, software designs, and source code for compliance to standards and industry best practices

  • Meet engineering design, and coding deliverable deadlines with quality and with little or no supervision

  • Contribute to the continuously evolving and improving development processes

  • Provide support to tier three technical support team to assist them in the resolution of customer issues

  • Perform root cause analysis on software defects to drive continuous improvement in the development process

  • Communicate with team leaders and managers on ongoing status, milestones, and success.

  • Perform other related duties, as assigned. This would include tasks such as documentation reviews, testing, training and support to other development departments


Experience, Skills, Academic:

Qualifications:




  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Math, or equivalent education/experience

  • Must have a minimum of 5 years recent experience with MS SQL Server

  • Must have a minimum of 3 years recent experience with query design and performance tuning

  • Must have experience with multiple node solutions including clusters, OLTP, report servers, and data warehouses .

  • Must have 1 year experience with database configuration and performance tuning

  • Must have 1 year with deadlock analysis and alleviation

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Must have experience with setting up MS SQL security

  • Familiarity C# ASP.NET development is desired
