JD and Task: Scan Analyst
• Gather information in conjunction with Requestors, Software
Component Managers & System / Service / Database Owners to
obtain an understanding of the application context & scan
purpose.
• Liaise with Database Administrator(s) ensuring correct data is
acquired and copied.
• Initiate scanning process allocating policies / indexes as required.
• Perform analysis on the returned potential incidents based on
the context of the application, taking into consideration analysis
rules.
• Categorize & consolidate the results into reports.
• Offer support to various business units regarding the findings
until closure.
• Close applications through final report packaging.
• Offer continuous improvement methodology.
Responsibilities
• Chair Kick-Off Meetings with Requestors & Data Owners.
• Determine Scan Scope.
• Initiate Scan – Ensure requested indexes / policies are applied
• Result / Incident Analysis.
• Consolidation & Partial Completion of Reporting Documents.
• Distribution of Final Reporting.

Required Skills
