IS Project Managers provide project management and implementation services insuring quality system design, build and deployment. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provides project direction and management to a team of resources in order to accomplish common goals defined by the project scope and objectives.


2. Provides project management services and support.


3. Provides input in the development of project management protocols, procedures and guidelines.


4. Provides implementation services including, but not limited to: project management, rollout support, system selection and operational planning. Acts as point of escalation for team members in providing these services.


5. Completes project status reports and is responsible for escalating issues and resource needs to IS&T management.


6. Serves as a resource for other staff members.


7. Handles multi-project interactions, interfaces, assessments and related decisions while considering project priorities based on resources and funds.


8. Manages vendor resources, project accounting, subcontractors, and contract administration.
