Online Merchandising/Platform Manager

Dalian, Liaoning, China, CN - Information Technology and Services





Dell.com and Premier.com are Dell"s eCommerce store for Consumer and Commercial business segments. Reporting to Japan Online Director, this position will drive both platforms' flawless E2E site quality by coordinating day-to-day Online merchandising actions for Japan-specific ecommerce stores. This includes campaign+banner placement and execution, store quality audits / error fixing and participating in user-acceptance test. Also s/he will own overall customer experience for the site by working with relevant stakeholders such as Online IT, Order Processing, Sales, Finance, Marketing and Project Management Organization.



Besides keeping site/store healthy, s/he are held accountable to driving Store Conversion, TRU/TMU by paying close attention to online metrics and participating in marketing initiatives, to optimize overall KPI.











Key Responsibilities



· Meet DCS quarterly business goals including Online revenue, margin, conversion and transactions for Online sites



· Plan & Execute improvement in client PCs, Online Frictionless to manufacturing, TRU/TMU & Cusotmer Satisfaciton as applicable within the country



· Creating and executing Online strategies against Business unit goals and initiatives to build scalable and sustainable Online penetration across Consumer and Commercial business segments



· In collaboration with chat teams, sales teams, merchandising teams, continuously review all aspects of the site experience and challenge the norm –redesign, test and search for improvements in order conversion and customer site experience.



Qualifications :


· Minimum of a Bachelor"s degree with a minimum of 3 years proven experience in Online merchandising operations



· Language: Excellent written and verbal Japanese and English



· Strong analytical and problem solving skills, proven leadership qualities and strong motivational team building and spirit



· Keen sense for online customer experience from purchase path to delivery



· Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed, autonomous environment



· Eager to Learn independently about new tool and process internally, and capability to improve existing process



· Results & execution oriented with Priority setting skill



· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving and demanding environment



· Online page performance analytics knowledge (Site Catalyst) and CMS experience are desired but not required
