Job Description



Dell Services Federal Government is looking for a Business Analyst in our Washington DC location. The Business Systems Analyst will be a member of a large and diverse development and operations team using open source technologies and an Agile SDLC to support nearly 100,000 users. If you are curious and passionate about delivery of web technologies and enjoy a variety of tasks and business challenges this is a great fit for you.



The Business Systems Analyst will support web-based application owners and users by identifying and analyzing business requirements and guiding end-users in the use of the applications. The Analyst will understand the customers process and needs; demonstrate features of the application suite and work with the sponsor and project managers to establish sophisticated data collections and reporting solutions.



Responsibilities:

Assist product managers in defining features sets and optimizing the development process.

Assist with research and gathering information for business and functional requirements.

Assist with quality assurance, testing, and benchmarking of web based systems software.



Required Skills



6 months of experience with web-based applications

1 year of experience with writing/documenting business needs

1 year of experience working with leaders on defining business requirements and guiding execution of projects or business initiatives.

6 months of experience developing and/or updating user guides and conducting application specific training.



Desired Skills



Education



Typically requires at least 6 years relevant experience without a Degree; 2+ years relevant experience with Undergraduate Degree; 1+ years relevant experience with Graduate Degree
