GENERAL SUMMARY
The Telecom and NFV (Network Functions Virtualization) pre-sales specialist is a key member of the OEM Solutions team and will manage Telecom and NFV proof-of-concepts, projects and customer solutions based on Dell’s NFVI platform Solutions and key partner technologies. Target accounts for NFV Solutions are Telecom Service Providers and Operators, Independent Software and Solution Vendors that contribute to the NFV ecosystem, Network Equipment Vendors and potentially Enterprise customers. The Telecom and NFV pre-sales specialist will work closely with Dell OEM Solutions Sales Teams and Dell Networking as required by the key partner technologies targeted in the managed projects.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work directly with assigned accounts R&D, engineering, CTO teams for developing NFV sales funnel and ecosystem
• Manage the assigned Telecom accounts from a technical perspective including regular customer update presentations and reviews.
• Attend Monthly or Quarterly Account reviews to review Dell’s service performance.
• Taking ownership of any managed account technical / service issues and ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner and to complete customer satisfaction,
• Responsible for the transition management of all the relevant programs
• Provide technical input into proposals to increase revenue on Telecom accounts:
• Report activities, deals, designs and issues in SFDC
INTERACTIONS
This role interacts with Dell Product Group (Servers, Networking, OpenStack), OEM Solutions, Dell solutions centers

Beyond that we should like to see
- knowledge of carrier interoperability between systems
- experience with traditional to NFV migration
plus an understanding of
- 4G LTE interfaces like S5,S11, GSi.
- MPLS/VPLS technologies
