Job Description
Dell Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary Dell Services Federal Government, Inc. (DSFG) is seeking a Client Technical Support Specialist to provide hardware maintenance and service desk support for user hardware, including networked printers, blackberry, workstations and laptops supporting both SIPRNET and NIPRNET.
- Responsible for base lining, configuring and patching workstations and laptops.
- Provide incident response to security and spillage incidents.
- Provide VoIP support for Cisco and telephony devices
- Troubleshoot connectivity issues using knowledge of OSI model.
- Conduct fault isolation and replacement of workstation hardware components
- Must be capable of demonstrating knowledge of Creating and maintaining user AD accounts and associated mailboxes/calendars
- Conduct user support through the use of remote administration and incident resolution

Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience performing help desk/system administration
- Must have obtained or re-certified one of the following certifications in the last three years: Security + or equivilant IAT2 certification, A+, Networking+, Windows 7 desktop etc
Desired Skills
- Configure / Manage mobile devices and associated infrastructure
- Prior experience working in a military environment preferred
- Ability to configure / Manage mobile devices and associated infrastructure
- Basic knowledge of managing VoIP devices using Cisco Call Manager and Unity
- Working knowledge of virtual operating environments
- Ability to generate reports using Microsoft Powershell
Education
Security+ as required by DoD 8570 standards
Experience
Typically requires 4 years IT experience without a Degree or Undergraduate Degree and at least 1 year IT experience.
Requirements
Must be capable of lifting 40lbs.
