Senior HR Generalist

LinkedIn is seeking an experienced HR professional to support our business in the delivery of organizational solutions for employees. This role will contribute to evolving and delivering the core HR practices established at LinkedIn while contributing at a hands-on level to represent and cultivate LinkedIn’s culture.

HR Generalist experienced and on a HRBP track, the Senior HR Generalist will partner with the HRBP to support the business functions in the APAC region.

This role requires the individual to have strong understanding of HR practices and is able to provide managers and employees with guidance in relation to HR policies and procedures.

Reporting into the Head of HR Operations & Technology (APAC), this role will have direct interaction and engagement with the employees as well as managers and leaders.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop effective working relationships with all staff, whilst influencing and coaching and supporting the management team on the development and delivery of their people plans in line with HR strategies
  • Design and develop HR initiatives in support of the Global HR strategy
  • Working in partnership with the business to manage employee relations issues
  • Support business area with disciplinary/grievances and other employee issues where specific business area knowledge is essential
  • Support the business to establish and introduce systems that identify employees with high potential, develop career paths, succession planning and personal self-development
  • Provide coaching to managers and employees to resolve conflicts, enhance team effectiveness, and ensure support of organization changes and business plans
  • Coordinate performance reviews processes, merit increases, performance / potential matrices and succession planning from probation assessment to annual reviews
  • Provide project management support and HR expertise to the business with specific related projects
  • Support the HRBP team with projects and data analysis in line with the Global HR strategy
  • Work with the HRBPs to derive data and insights on employee performance trends to identify development needs and assess for appropriate solutions
  • Provide proactive reporting and data analysis based on need
  • Partner with the HRBPs on key HR programs such as the performance summary cycle and employee engagement survey results collation and next steps
  • Work as part of the central HR Talent Services team
Basic Requirements:
  • 8+ years of HR experience in a technology or high-tech organization
  • Min. 3 years’ experience as a Senior HR Generalist or the equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree with emphasis in HR or equivalent years of field related experience
  • Past experience within a technology or high-tech organization
  • Experience should include employment law understanding, previous experience in supporting performance management, employee relations and data analytics/reporting
  • Candidate must have demonstrated project management skills and ability to drive programs independently
  • Must have strong communication skills, including facilitation experience
  • Comfort with building relationships at all levels of the organization and management, strong interpersonal skills
