Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
You will lead strategic global projects that will positively impact the Customer Experience for Google’s Small- to Medium-sized Business (SMB) Advertisers. This team delivers a variety of strategic projects (e.g., annual business planning, integration of new product support models) and operational projects (e.g., launch of proactive chat or 24/7 service). You will lead the way for Global Customer Services by identifying new, impactful opportunities and executing on them.
This is a strategic role requiring you to work with executives as well as with cross-functional and global teams. As a Strategic Initiatives Lead, you provide project and thought leadership, business judgment, and analytical insight to support customer centric initiatives globally. You have a hunger to drive strategic and operational innovation based on analytical rigor and the ability to get things done in a multi-stakeholder environment. You persuasively communicate your recommendations to senior-level executives and drive implementation, executing on your responsibilities while getting the best out of individuals throughout the company.
Responsibilities
- Deliver global projects to evolve and transform the customer experience for Google’s SMB customers across multiple products.
- Develop compelling, insightful recommendations based on quality data analysis and lead execution against recommendations quickly and with flawless accuracy.
- Provide end-to-end leadership of projects from requirements definition to deployment, along with issue and risk management.
- Engage with senior Google leaders, partner with cross-functional teams to problem solve and provide insights that have a direct impact on the future direction of the business.
- Deliver strategic projects, managing communications across all organizations and levels globally.
Minimum qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Project management, people management or management consulting experience.
Preferred qualifications
- MBA or Master's degree.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills and experience in applying project management tools.
- Ability to manage ambiguity, work independently and be able to chart direction of projects.
- Impeccable business judgment, and professional distinction in thought leadership and innovation.
- Superior data modeling and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple and diverse stakeholders across businesses and leadership levels.
