Job Description

Dell Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary, Dell Services Federal Government (DSFG), is looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Leader to join our organization in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will provide direction and guidance for operations, administration, financials, and results for a major department and across multiple teams.

The Infrastructure Delivery Leader will exercise control over resources, policy formulation, and planning and will collaborate with leadership to set strategy and business objectives. If you have a proven track record of delivering growth and high level service to Federal programs, please apply!

Responsibilities include:

-Influencing the strategic and/or long-term focus for the function
-Provides leadership and direction through lower-level managers
-Implements tactical and strategic change through subordinate managers
-Implements and recommends policies that define approach to strategy achievement for area manage
-Decisions may impact overall business, but are mainly related to the department or work area
-Provides authoritative advice to top management based on deep subject matter expertise
-Initiates integrated business plans based on senior leadership strategy
-Leads a team of managers responsible for carrying out the objectives of the department or work area
-Leads teams in understanding the link between Dell objectives and their contributions
-Develops budgets, schedules and performance requirements
-Builds long-term development and succession plans
-Applies influence and negotiation skills to drive business results
-Collaborates with key stakeholders both internal and external
-Serves as important liaison to external contacts (customers and vendors)
-Assumes responsibility for sales objectives
-Responsible for operational delivery on large complex accounts that are the most complex from a customer and product integration perspective
-Accounts are of higher dollar values and strategic importance
-Allocates appropriate resources across accounts and teams
-Escalation point and responsible for delivery and customer satisfaction on multiple engagements/projects focused on a single customer
-Leads the defining and adherence to delivery management processes and policies
-Provides leadership and progressive experience in delivery management best practices
-Manages multiple programs and the coordination and direction of large third-party partner relationships
-Ability to articulate solutions and the introduction of best practice architectures that support the mission of the customer. This often requires the delivery and financial models

Required Skills

-8+ years of relevant experience
-6+ years managerial/leadership experience
-Demonstrated experience overseeing and managing large and complex accounts
-Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives
-Advanced priority-setting skills as they relate to setting strategic direction for the group
-Ability to lead large cross-functional teams geographically dispersed
-Demonstrates attentiveness to driving quality and productivity within team
-Demonstrates analytical, problem solving, negotiation and organizational skills
-Ability to motivate, direct, and lead large groups of people at all levels within the organization
-Ability to implement delivery transformation programs to re-engineer delivery cost model

Desired Skills

-Understanding of ITIL Framework
-Service Desk Experience
-Incident/Problem Management Experience
-Understanding and/or experience implementing Cloud-based solutions
-Network and Infrastructure Operations experience
-Data center Operations experience

BS/BA w/minimum 6 year of experience
