Business Analytics Associate - Marketing Analytics

Responsibilities
- Work closely with other business analytics staff and our business partners in Market Research and Brand Marketing to analyze member engagement data, survey data, interview data, and user activity or behavior data to drive informed business decisions
- Analyze, mash-up, and mine massive amounts of data to extract useful business insights
- Build machine learning models to discover lift opportunities in our engagement metrics (typically using Decision Trees and/or Bayesian Networks)
- Design & build business KPI dashboards and data visualizations to be leveraged by our internal partners
- Create and refine the necessary data architecture to support the visualizations & insights
- Build-in efficiency using data workflows, automation, and tools
- Develop stories & presentations based on the analysis
- BS or MS degree in a quantitative discipline: Computer Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, or related technical field
- 1+ years of industry experience ideally within marketing areas such as segmentation, customer engagement, customer satisfaction, web analytics, attribution, funnel, marketing metrics
- Real-world experience using R or other scripting language for data prep, analysis, and machine learning (e.g. decision trees, Bayesian networks)
- Experience working with SQL
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization and dashboard tools
- 2+ years of industry experience ideally within marketing areas such as segmentation, customer engagement, customer satisfaction, web analytics, attribution, funnel, marketing metrics
- Experience conducting driver analysis for NPS score or other customer feedback metrics
- Experience with brand marketing campaign attribution and ROI
- Experience with ETL, building data workflow and data visualization automation
- Experience with Hadoop, Hive, Pig
- Programming skills: Experience building data products or web apps with with Java, Python, Perl, PHP or Javacript
- Drive and discipline to do hard things
- Strong communication skills. Can transform complexity to clarity for business partners.
