Role
At Salesforce Marketing Cloud Project Manager plays a pivotal role for our industry leading, on demand, interactive marketing solutions. In this role you will work closely with the Core Infrastructure group, product development and many other teams within Salesforce Marketing Cloud to coordinate infrastructure related deliverables for Salesforce Marketing Cloud applications.
As a member of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud Core Infrastructure group, you will join a team of System Administrators, Database Administrators, Data Center operations and Storage Administrators who are experts in the technologies fields who work in an environment of enormous scale.
This position is based in the Gibson building located downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.
Your Impact:
Success will be measured by:
• Lead the planning and implementation of IT infrastructure projects
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• Define project tasks and resource requirements and timelines
• Coordinate project meeting with resources and management
• Work with managers to get resource allocations
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
• Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
• Project evaluations and assessment of results
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related area
• Significant work experience in a similar position
• Team player that has the ability to work well in a collaborative, team oriented environment, work hard and have fun
• Able to prioritize, be flexible and handle multiple projects with varying deadlines in a multi-task environment
• Extraordinary organizational skills and the ability to follow up on tasks
• Superior attention to detail
• High standards of quality and personal integrity
• High level of energy, self-confidence and enthusiasm with ability to communicate and develop positive relationships with a wide variety of customers
• Strong written and oral Communication skills a must
• Ability to organize large amounts of data into trackable deliverables
• Experience with both strategic and tactical problem solving
• Business Analysis experience preferredknowledge of project management techniques and tools
• Proven experience in people management
• Proven experience in strategic planning
• Proven experience in risk management
• Proven experience in change management
• Experience with IT organization teams in the following area Data Centers, Server Administrator, DBA's and Developers
