Outside Sales Specialist Networking (Region Niedersachsen/NRW)



Dell is looking for an Outside Sales Specialist Networking to join our team as part of this Networking organization. The success of the candidate will directly affect the overall performance of the regional growth plan.



Principal Accountabilities:



• Proactively identifies and solves customer business problems by providing subject matter expertise and by using Dell Networking product and services lines to create solutions.



• Manages a territory with a group of accounts to ensure opportunities are identified and closed.



• Attains revenue and margin objectives.



• Refers leads beyond the scope of this job to other sellers within the organization.



• Assigned a territory quota



• Qualifies Opportunities to focus on large networking opportunities to build up a qualified pipeline



• Spend majority of the time at customer/client facilities and delivers high impact presentations leveraging strong technical skills.



• Understands and communicates technology roadmaps and vision and associated technical advantages of the proposed solution.



• In conjunction with Sales Engineer recommends product and service configurations to assist with overall system design and integration.



• Closely interact with the account teams to proactively drive networking opportunities within their existing customer base



QualificationsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:



• Anticipates how market and competitive factors will influence the selling of Dell products and services.



• Long-term vision of business/technology direction for Dell.



• Advises customers/Dell on strategic business and technology plans.



• Recognized internally and externally as a thought leader on the industry, the Dell business model and competitors.



• Effectively executes and influences key decisions for the benefit of Dell and the customer.



• Works effectively with functional leaders throughout the organization.



Experience:



• 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience.



• Strong knowledge of networking products, solutions, vendors, and families of technologies.



• Strong knowledge of datacenter solutions and the role networking is playing. Hence understanding how to cross sell from Server/Storage to networking



• Strong oral and written communication skills in English and German to communicate with customers, support personnel, and leadership
