Sales Product Consultant
The Sales Product Consultant (SPC) is part of the LinkedIn Sales Solutions organization. The objective of this role is to drive adoption of our product, LinkedIn Sales Navigator within our clients and to help our solutions become a mission critical, irreplaceable part of our clients’ sales and business development process. You will be responsible for on-boarding training (onsite and webinars), project management and regular metrics reviews as well as consulting and best practice sharing sessions with the customers
Responsibilities
- Partnering with the account sales team, you will act as a consultant for LinkedIn’s customers to drive adoption and provide pre and post-sales training to LinkedIn’s SMB and enterprise account customers.
- Deliver group user information and training sessions about LinkedIn Sales Solutions products, industry bench marking and best practices.
- Educate clients on the value they can generate from their current LinkedIn products via training and regular communication about the products features and benefits.
- Utilizing LinkedIn, client and other data sources to derive insights and use these to drive greater customer engagement with LinkedIn product
- Maintain a deep understanding of our solutions and speak with customers about the most relevant features/functionality for their specific business needs.
- Monitor usage and proactively contact clients with low usage, provide additional training/education to fully optimize usage of the products.
- Act as SME for product features (new and enhanced) and serve as a ‘voice’ for account customers and provide internal feedback on how LinkedIn can better serve it’s customers
We are seeking candidates with:
- Excellent project management capability. Past experience driving project from discovery, design through change management to effective delivery and completion
- 5+ years of proven sales experience using social media
- Experience with developing and delivering onsite training and webinars and an ability to effectively present to large remote audiences
- A big thinker demonstrating ability to drive transformation of sales strategy in complex and scaled enterprises through application of technology and project management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills as well as attention to detail
- Proven analytical ability deriving insight from data and building actionable strategy
- Software pre-sales and/or sales effectiveness experience
- Ambitious and driven, thriving in fast-paced and demanding environment
- Teamwork mentality and willingness to collaborate and support others to achieve their goals and to be positive.
- Strong Microsoft Office capabilities: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Degree qualified or equivalent experience in business, or related field (Masters preferred)
- Professional and confident public presence; experience in commanding large audiences as an authority on LinkedIn Sales Solutions in both virtual and in-person settings
