Primary objective:
As part of the Ad Operations team, the Campaign Planner is essential to a campaign’s success. Primarily, you'll focus on the pre-sales stages of advertising campaigns. Working closely with Campaign Management, Account Management, Sales and other internal departments, you will become an expert in using LinkedIn’s proprietary tools to segment our audiences to make sure our clients reach the right audience. Adaptable and dedicated, you also possess great time-management skills and the ability to multitask.
As a Campaign Planner, you will contribute to LinkedIn Marketing Solutions’ growth and success by providing the LinkedIn Ad Operations and Sales teams with outstanding service, in particular on our targeting capabilities and sales proposal building. Campaign Planners are measured on their ability to ensure that all advertising campaign proposals are structured to meet client objectives and drive revenue.

Quality – Ensure all advertising campaign proposals and targeting are set up flawlessly
Delivery - Drive revenue and results
- During the first 30 days, you will learn about the structure of the business, the team and the critical importance of the success of Advertising Operations within Marketing Solutions. Understand the product and site functionality. Meet the Sales and AM team you’ll be working with to develop an understanding of their roles, issues and expectations. Gain an understanding of the different types of systems and tools used for trafficking.
- During the first 60 days, you will start learning one of the different tools/systems in-depth. Before the end of month 2 you will be able to deliver on one or two tasks of the full ad operations workflow
- After 3 months you will be able to juggle multiple requests at the same time and turn the majority of them around within established SLA’s, striving to increase efficiency
- After 6 months, you will be able to ssuccessfully plan, coordinate, execute and monitor --complex-- campaigns in partnership with assigned sales teams from start to end (the full life cycle of a campaign)
