Job Duties: Perform functional manual/automated ("black box" & "white box") testing of features which includes writing a detailed testing plan as well as relevant test cases to cover business use cases. Ensure error handling and boundary conditions work as defined by technical specifications documents. Identify missing test cases and refine existing scripts for modularity and automation purposes, estimate and prioritize work for optimal risk mitigation and identify suitable regression suites. Utilize object-oriented methodologies to develop automated tests written in Java to improve testing efficiency. Utilize automation tools such as Selenium, HTTPUnit, and JUnit (API automation). Utilize internal defect tracking tool to log and track defects and feature requests in the current release under test. Work with cross-team product owners, developers, and quality engineers to identify and manage product dependencies, coordinate testing efforts, and manage risks. Provide support for customer escalations, helping to diagnose, test and resolve the reported customer issues. Design and develop features and implement user stories. Fix code bugs. Resolve investigations and customer cases.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent), plus two (2) years of experience in the job offered, or as a Analyst, or any computer related job title.
Special Requirements: In depth knowledge and experience in Java; Object-oriented programming and design; Automation tools (e.g., Selenium, HTTPUnit, JUnit); Database management; Quality Engineering; Data Structures and Algorithms; and Linux/Unix.
