Role Overview


You're going to work in a dynamic and motivated team on various cutting-edge database tool applications. These applications cover both relational databases, business intelligence, and emerging cloud databases. While relational databases are widely deployed in nearly all industries, cloud databases are the emerging technology that power the could computing technology used by Google, , , Amazon EC2, Microsoft Azure, Saleforce, etc.



Responsibilities


· Responsible for the design and development activities associated with software using a range of applicable technologies (e.g., programming languages, compilers, assemblers, debuggers, other tools) for products used in local, networked or Internet-related computer programs.



· Analyzes requirements and develops innovative, useful software. Modifies existing software products to add new functions, adapt to new hardware, improve performance or enhance product usability.



· Participates in product development in all stages from planning and design to development and testing.



· Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.



· Assists training with production of formal training material for sales/marketing.



Qualifications :


Essential Requirements


· 3+ years of experience in C++



· Windows skills:



o Someone who knows Visual C++



o How to set up a Visual Studio development environment



o How to set up a headless build using Visual Studio



o How to build open source tools for Windows



· Or Linux skills:



o Someone who knows g++ really well



o Someone who knows makefiles really well



o How to resolve shared object linkage issues



o How to build and install open source tools



o How to set up a C++ development environment on Linux



· A bachelor/master degree in computer science or other related disciplines.



· Good understanding of how relational databases work



· Good in oral and written English. CET4.



· Good communication skills and team work spirit



Preferences


· Familiarity with Lua is a plus



· Network programming experience for REST and SOAP is a plus



· Knowledge about setting up an automated build system is a plus



· Be Familiar with git source control is a plus
