Solutions Consultant Manager

Google's Publisher & Distribution Solutions (PDS) team makes sure that our external partners are able to grow their businesses using Google's products. Technical Account Managers are advertising and technology experts who serve as liaisons between our biggest partners and Google's Engineering and Sales teams. They not only serve as Google gurus but also identify new opportunities where our products can better help our partners' businesses. Our suite of products is growing and PDS Technical Account Managers help us understand exactly what our partners need.



The Solutions Consultant Manager will lead individual client relationships along with managing a team of Account Managers (Solutions Consultants), serving as the primary day-to-day client contact.



Adometry provides ad verification and cross-channel attribution intelligence, plus auditing and scoring metrics, to optimize results for the world’s leading online advertisers, publishers and ad networks. Through its SaaS-based advanced analytics, Adometry processes and analyzes tens-of-billions of impressions and advertising transactions per month to identify the true consumer purchase-decision journey. Adometry combines a scientifically proven methodology with a flexible and easy to implement solution to generate results in as little as two weeks.



Responsibilities


  • Lead, grow, and manage a team of Account Managers ensuring correct process, client focus, and communication to create transformational performance for the client. Mange client health for a portfolio of accounts.

  • Lead and make decisions independently that properly balance the needs of the client and the business. Be responsible for managing client communications ranging from weekly performance meetings to quarterly business reviews through the Account Management leads/team.

  • Own internal communications to the cross-functional team on performance, strategies and needs. Ensure all deliverables and insights are being met and exceeded by the Account Management team, driving client success.

  • Develop people within the team and across capabilities by coaching, identifying areas of growth, celebrating successes, keeping an open dialogue with your team, and identifying training opportunities. Provide team members guidance, help on goal setting and performance feedback on a regular basis.





  • Minimum qualifications

  • 8 years of sales and marketing functional experience, including 5 years of agency or client services leadership experience.

  • Experience working with Account Managers and managing escalations to resolution within the Portfolio. Experience working with Sales/Solutions teams to ensure client transition from agreement signing to engagement.

  • Experience running engagements with clients or equivalent experience. Experience in an Account Management role within the software and/or agency world.





  • Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working across teams to develop proof points of solution success to be shared in the sales/marketing process. Experience collaborating with Product and Sales teams to help develop key strategic services offerings.

  • Experience with SaaS model, online and digital advertising, offline and Media Mix Modeling.

  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams to achieve a shared vision/strategy.

  • Ability to speak to both technical and business stakeholders and users and interact at all levels of an organization.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation writing and delivery. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to be personable yet persistent.

    The Google Technical Services team (known as gTech) provides technical expertise across all Google products to support our global Sales, Business Development and Partnerships teams. We fix any issues on behalf of customers and partners so that our sales teams can focus on what they do best. We collaborate closely with Google's engineering groups to create technical solutions that enable our sales organization to help our customers' businesses grow.
