About the opportunity



The role of a Sales Development Specialist provides you with the opportunity to educate small, medium and enterprise customers on the benefits of LinkedIn’s Sales Solutions. While the thousands of leads the team qualifies are extremely important to the health of the business, more important is the development of the individuals qualifying those leads.



Our Global Sales Development teams are the training ground for the future leaders of our Global Sales. They are the key to our future success – the rock stars of LinkedIn.



What will a typical day look like?


  • Educating prospects regarding our suite of corporate solutions

  • Partnering with your Account Executives to identify and build a pipeline of business

  • Qualifying and developing sales leads and responding to product inquiries

  • Developing and running email campaigns to generate new sales prospects

  • Driving attendance for marketing campaigns and events

  • Scheduling demonstrations between Account Executives and potential customers


What will set you apart from the rest?


  • A highly motivated individual with a competitive personality and strong attention to detail

  • Excellent academic qualifications; Bachelor’s Degree with a Distinction average and/or honors

  • Demonstrated success overachieving against professional or personal goals

  • Prior experience in a lead generation, sales, marketing and/or recruiting position

  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills and superior organizational skills
