About the Position
The Sales Representative is a highly motivated professional driven to succeed and wishing to move forward into a career in Sales. Your role is a critical component to the continued successful growth. Learning the skill of effective qualification is a key element to becoming a successful sales rep.
The Sales Representative primary responsibility is to contact inbound leads for the purpose of qualifying them for the sale of Exact Targets interactive marketing solutions. The inbound leads will come from a variety of marketing sources that are focused on lead generation. Your overall responsibility is to quickly qualify these opportunities and work with your sales reps to bring them to closure. This is a great opportunity, with potential advancement within the organization. Aggressive and successful individuals will be rewarded financially and will gain the business experience and knowledge needed for career advancement.
Responsibilities
• Initiating telephone and email contact with potential prospects from inbound leads
• Qualifying leads with the primary goal of determining if the prospect has a compelling reason to purchase Exact Targets solutions
• Work with Sales reps in your respective territories to insure the smooth transition of information and feedback from generated leads
• Use all available means to perform effective research in the initial development and ongoing maintenance of potential customers
• Consistently meet inbound lead turn around and follow up requirements.
• Consistently meet qualified lead totals on a monthly basis
Requirements
• BS/BA degree required
• Prefer 1 year or more of inside sales experience
• Experience with web-based on-demand software solutions
• Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
• Interpersonal and Team Building Skills
• Passion for Technology and Sales
• Highly Motivated to Succeed
• Ability to multi-task
• Above average keyboarding/typing skills
• Basic industry knowledge of Web Analytics software
• Salesforce.com CRM knowledge a plus
