Mid-Markets Account Executive (Dutch)



The Account Executive is responsible for selling LinkedIn’s digital marketing solutions to the world’s most sophisticated marketers and helping them connect with our audience of success-driven professionals. You’ll be joining a brand new team of experienced online advertising and marketing experts who are developing breakthrough marketing programs, delivering world-class customer service, and achieving LinkedIn’s goal of being the most effective platform online for marketers to engage professionals. This role will primarily be responsible for the selling of online advertising programs to a broad base of Small/Medium businesses in the BENELUX region, as well as large enterprises in specific verticals.



We're looking for a pro-active individual who can increase the LinkedIn client base, provide strategic sales solutions, and build strong client relationships. You must be results driven, have strong analytical skills and be committed to creating new business opportunities. The Media Sales Professional is expected to understand and be able to articulate the overall business objectives of LinkedIn and its value proposition to the advertising community.



Within the first 30 days you should have achieved the following:



  • Attended the relevant Marketing Solution Product trainings and explored our various suite of products

  • Set up your accounts, discovered the various process that lead the business and understand the metrics that matter

  • Followed the ramp up program defined by your Mentor and started to build a pipeline of companies where the decision maker and needs have been identified




Within the first 60 days you should have achieved the following:



  • Discovered the competitive landscape and elaborated your elevator pitch with the support of your peers

  • Navigated through the various tools that enable you to build solutions and adapt them to fit to your book of business

  • Take ownership of your portfolio and pro-actively reach out to customers, deliver a tailor solution and start generating your first deals




Within the first 90 days you should have achieved the following:



  • Discovered the Talent, Marketing & Sales Solution portfolio, provided feedback to the L&D team to improve the product training

  • Defined the best set of KPI and reports to track and report your activity

  • Defined and executed a sales plan to ensure your quarterly target achievement




Qualifications candidates should possess:



  • Native Dutch/Flemish as well as fluency in English required

  • Proven track record of Online Media Sales experience or SaaS

  • Ability to deliver success driving revenue through the development of long-term strategic relationships

  • Demonstrated capability of structuring and managing complex negotiations to successful closure and delivery

  • Understand how internet advertising technology works and the ability to explain in ordinary terms

  • Excellent communication skills (both over the phone and in person)

  • Eagerness to work in a fast-paced start-up environment
