Outside Regional Sales Director, Preferred Commercial Accounts (Remote, Boston MA)

We are currently looking for an Outside Regional Sales Director to join our Preferred Commercial Accounts sales team. This is one of the most exciting sales opportunities offered at Dell. It is an opportunity to lead an aggressive, unique, and challenging sales team driving Dell business to Commercial Mid-Market Accounts. These accounts have a buying power of 100K-10M and employ up to 5000 people.
Your sales leadership background and experience will be essential in helping you develop a territory plan, sales call strategy, and to grow new lines of business. You will effectively communicate Dell's value proposition, strategies, services, and products to each client and sell the full portfolio of offerings available from Dell.
Role Responsibilities
- Manages field sales team members in the sale of the organization’s products or services to specific existing named or strategic accounts on a national geographic basis.
- Customarily and regularly engaged at client facilities.
- Grow and Protect top customers
- Manages the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce
- Responsible for organizing cross functional teams’ engagement with account
- Work with Preferred Accounts organization on key performance indicators and results needed for long term success
Qualifications Requirements
- 10+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work
- 6+ years leadership experience
- Strong understanding of customer/industry climate
- High level of relevant solutions selling and technical knowledge
